inn/between was TRTCT's first site-specific play, taking place entirely inside the Haywood Park Hotel. We arranged 30 chairs for audience seating in two different hotel rooms, and our expert Housekeeping crew led the audience from the hotel lobby to an upstairs antechamber and eventually to both rooms, where a total of seven short plays were performed. All the plays were meant to be performed in hotel rooms, and some were actually written specifically for the Haywood Park, which was another exciting first for TRTCT, and helped these diverse stories of transience come together as a whole.

As part of Stoneleaf, inn/between was graciously granted significant press coverage, including The Asheville Citizen Times, Rapid River, The Charlotte Observer, WCQS, and a featured live interview on WUNC (Chapel Hill)'s "The State of Things," which you can hear at the wunc.org archives or by clicking here.

Allow us to take you on a virtual tour of the performance:

One: Starting in the lobby, please make your way upstairs, where Parallel is waiting for you in the antechamber.

Two: Welcome to room 208; please be our guests. Have a seat, have a mint, and in a moment, The Gap will present itself, followed by Patterns (A Bad Idea), Bright Angel, and Taking Stock, Options.

Three: Café Max & Rosie's has provided a delightful selection of appetizers for our mid-show snack in the antechamber. Please enjoy!

Four: Suite 209 is now available. Please take a look around, and settle in for a Prelude to a Crisis, followed by the last show of the evening, The Company.
